EWI Recruitment is supporting a leading European consultancy in their search for a Traction Power Expert (Overhead Catenary System) to join a prestigious rail project in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise across high-speed, conventional, tram, and metro rail systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in OCS/traction power across all phases of rail infrastructure projects.

  • Conduct design reviews, feasibility assessments, and ensure engineering compliance.

  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (civil, track, systems, signalling, etc.).

  • Support tender documentation, project coordination, and interface management.

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 12+ years of experience in traction power and OCS on rail infrastructure projects.

  • Expertise across high-speed rail, metro, tram, and conventional rail.

  • Experience working with international consultancy firms or major contractors is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
