An international renewable energy developer is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement for large-scale solar PV, battery storage (BESS), and wind projects. The role involves managing supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations, and overseeing strategic sourcing for clean energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sourcing and negotiation for solar, battery, and electrical components.

Conoscenza di software tecnici (AutoCAD, PVsyst, ecc.).

Fluente in inglese, in quanto si lavora in un contesto internazionale.

Proattività, spirito di squadra e ottime capacità di problem-solving.

My client is rapidly expanding its portfolio of renewable projects across the UK, these projects are in the latter stages of development and entering into construction and operation. To that end we are seeking an Asset Owner who will be responsible to support the UK project team to manage these assets during construction and operation and optimize their value to the business.

Reporting to the Senior Asset Owner, they will have the following responsibilities:

Management of solar, wind, hydro and storage power generating assets in the Territory through pre-construction, construction and operation phases, to optimize the value of the assets for the business.Ensure that the assets are:Financed in accordance with the most current, relevant Investment Plan;Constructed in accordance with the price, schedule, specifications and terms of the relevant EPC Contract;Operated and maintained in accordance with the price, schedule, scope and terms of the relevant O&M Contract, Annual O&M Plan and Annual O&M Budget;Kept safe and secure at all times; andAdministered in accordance with the relevant internal standards and procedures and applicable law and regulations.

Achieve the objectives, execute the strategy, address the priorities, and comply with the budget agreed with the Head of Europe & Africa Affiliates and the Country Manager of the UK for each of the relevant assets, to transpose those objectives and priorities in to detailed operational and/or action plans for each of the assets, and to facilitate and document the outcome of Annual Reviews and oversee the implementation of action plans and recommendations stemming from those reviews.Act as representative of the Owner in front of EPC Contractor, O&M Contractor, Lenders, Government Authorities, Offtakers, Suppliers, partners and other key stakeholders, manage the contractual relationships with regulators, suppliers and subcontractors (both internal and external) and negotiate and resolve any claims stemming from such contractual relationships.Monitor the construction phase of various assets from start of construction up to commissioning and commercial operation date the mobilization of the O&M teams, the handover from EPC to O&M teams and ensure that all regulatory requirements and conditions precedent are met to put the assets in to commercial operation.Support the project finance process from initial stages up to Financial Close (including the technical, legal and insurance DD process) and the execution of punch list items at the end of construction.Conduct regular asset reviews to track the technical and financial performance of the assets and prepare rectification plans or recommendations for each of the assets to improve performance or address performance deficiencies and to oversee their implementation.Assume responsibility for the optimization of Company assets in the UK, with a view to the continual improvement in operating practices and indicators and the maximization of the asset's value over the medium and long term, including ambitious ideas such as the exploitation of regulatory niches, re-negotiation of PPAs, extension of land rights (including acquisition), repowering, refinancing, etc.Build, foster and maintain relationships with local, national and regional authorities as well as other stakeholders, important to the successful finance, construction and operation of the assets in the Territory.Build, foster and maintain positive and constructive relationships with the various internal Business lines in the execution of their activities with respect to the various assets, as well as with the various corporate support functions operating from France and Portugal, most notably, the DEV, EPC and O&M BLs and the ASIF (Commercial) and Finance corporate functions.Implement appropriate oversight to achieve the HSE objectives set for the Territory and for each of the assets, ensure that appropriate HSE training is put in place for relevant employees, and ensure a continual constructive communication with employees to promote a culture of safety across all of Company assets in the Territory.Ensure that the assets are constructed and operated in accordance with Company quality procedures, that assets are kept secure, that operational procedures are adhered to, and to immediately report and rectify any such deficiencies.Manage the respective asset teams to ensure we have the necessary people, processes and systems in place, that all employees are aware of and aligned with the objectives and priorities for each of the assets, that there is a clarity of purpose and opportunities for professional development for those employees, and that those employees are well integrated into Company activities and aware of and aligned with Company values and mission.Foster a lean, efficient and performant working environment within the various asset teams, where employees feel valued and are encouraged to contribute to solutions, and where a respectful, safe and collaborative work environment is promoted at all times.

Education and Technical Skills Level

The position will be based in London, but there will be some travel required.

Position Details

To support their Solar Project Delivery Unit, I am recruiting for 2 proven Project Directors, for a permanent / staff position, with experience on the EPC of utility scale solar PV projects. My client has a very strong pipeline of work and great prospects, you will busy from day one!

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the assigned projects throughout their life cycle and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while minimising risks and maximising margins on a variety of projects across the UK.

Reporting directly to the Head of Project Delivery, your role will involve, but not be limited to:

Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV projectDraft the scope of work and estimate the respective project budgetCreate and distribute rfps to potential EPC subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics, and select winning proposalsManage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with EPC subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractor's work in all phasesDevelop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project's successCommunicate with utilities and authority having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issuesIdentify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impactPossess strong organisational and time management skills

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

You will be expected to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fieldsProven track record of 5+ years of utility scale EPC solar project management experience, including ground mount projects over 10 MWElectrical Licensing strongly preferredIn-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes preferredDemonstrate good experience in supply contracts, budgets, cash flows, time schedules and tender experienceStrong leadership and communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capabilitySelf-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details and accuracy.Self-disciplined and result-orientedMust be legally entitled to work in the UK and / or EU and be fluent in English.Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary.

Salary Package: of up to £100,000 per annum (depending on experience),

Ruolo: Energy Efficiency Specialist

Location: Verona (con formula ibrida)

Una realtà italiana dinamica e in continua evoluzione nel campo dell'energia sostenibile è alla ricerca di un* Energy Efficiency Specialist da inserire nel team tecnico dedicato all'ottimizzazione dei consumi e alla gestione energetica avanzata.

L'azienda opera con un approccio integrato che unisce consulenza, progettazione e realizzazione di soluzioni energetiche.

Le principali attivitá e responsabilitá:

Redigere diagnosi energetiche preliminari e certificate, in ambito civile e/o industriale, nel rispetto del D.Lgs. 102/2014

Eseguire studi di fattibilità tecnico-economica su interventi di efficientamento e fonti rinnovabili

Analizzare consumi e contratti energetici, realizzare report di contabilità energetica e valutazione dei risparmi

Progettare e analizzare sistemi di monitoraggio, impostare programmi di Measurement & Verification

Gestire pratiche per incentivi (certificati bianchi, conto termico, detrazioni, bandi)

Fornire supporto nell'implementazione di Sistemi di Gestione dell'Energia (es. ISO 50001)

Partecipare alla redazione di offerte e contratti per servizi di efficienza energetica

Coordinare progetti di efficientamento in qualità di Project Manager

Le caratteristiche della risorsa ideale:

Laurea in Ingegneria (energetica, meccanica, industriale o simili)

Certificazione EGE (Esperto in Gestione dell'Energia) civile e/o industriale secondo UNI CEI 11339

Almeno 2-3 anni di esperienza nel settore dei servizi energetici

Ottima conoscenza delle normative di settore e dei principali strumenti di analisi energetica

Buona padronanza della lingua inglese (livello minimo B2)

Disponibilità a trasferte brevi e frequenti sul territorio nazionale

Attitudine proattiva, precisione e capacità di lavorare in squadra
