We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer: Hydrology, Road & Design to contribute to the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects. This role will suit an experienced engineer with strong technical capability across hydrology, stormwater management, road geometry and civil design, who can manage tasks from early concept development through to detailed design, documentation and construction support.

Your responsibilities will include preparing hydrological and hydraulic assessments, stormwater drainage strategies, flood studies and water-sensitive urban design solutions. You will develop road and site grading designs, horizontal and vertical alignments, earthworks plans, utility coordination layouts and construction documentation. The role will also involve producing design calculations, technical reports, specifications, cost estimates and approval documentation, while ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation, standards, project requirements and industry best practice.

You will work closely with project managers, surveyors, planners, architects, environmental specialists, contractors, authorities and clients to coordinate technical outcomes and resolve design issues. The position requires the ability to review drawings and deliverables, provide technical advice, identify project risks and contribute to programme and budget management. Applicants should hold a degree in Civil Engineering and have relevant professional experience in hydrology, drainage, road or land development design.
