We are supporting a leading international wind energy contractor in the appointment of a BoP Supervisor to oversee civil construction activities on onshore wind farm projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring balance of plant works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality and technical standards, working closely with site management and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors across all BoP civil works on siteMonitor progress against project schedules and implement mitigation measures where required to avoid delays Ensure all construction activities are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, permits, and regulatory requirementsEnforce HSE standards through regular site inspections and proactive identification of risks and non-complianceImplement and oversee the project Quality Control Plan, including inspections, testing, and verification of completed worksReview construction methodologies and resource planning to ensure alignment with engineering and project requirementsProvide technical oversight during foundation and civil installation phases, ensuring adherence to defined quality processesIdentify and resolve construction issues, coordinating corrective actions with subcontractorsMaintain accurate documentation covering site progress, inspections, and quality recordsLiaise with project stakeholders, including site management and client representatives, to ensure clear communication and delivery alignment


Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experienceDemonstrable experience supervising BoP or civil works on onshore wind or major infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of construction quality processes, standards, and regulatory frameworksProven ability to manage subcontractors and drive site performanceStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience identifying and resolving site-based technical or quality issuesWillingness to work on a rotational, site-based basisValid driving licenceRelevant safety certifications (e.g. Working at Heights, First Aid, Confined Space) are advantageous

Execution phase
