We are seeking a Power Supply Design Senior Engineer to lead the development of reliable, efficient, and high-performance power supply solutions for advanced electronic systems. In this role, you will take ownership of designs from concept and architecture through schematic capture, simulation, prototype development, validation, and production release. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define technical requirements, resolve complex design challenges, and ensure that solutions meet performance, quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Your responsibilities will include designing and optimising AC/DC, DC/DC, linear, and switched-mode power supply circuits, as well as power conversion, regulation, protection, monitoring, and energy-management functions. You will perform detailed analysis and modelling of electrical performance, thermal behaviour, efficiency, stability, electromagnetic compatibility, and reliability. The role will involve selecting components, preparing technical documentation, supporting PCB layout, reviewing designs, leading design verification activities, and investigating prototype or production issues. You will also contribute to design standards, development processes, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and significant industry experience in power supply or power electronics design. Strong practical knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design, power semiconductors, magnetics, control-loop theory, simulation tools, and PCB development is required. Experience with laboratory measurement equipment, design verification, safety standards, EMC compliance, thermal management, and design-for-manufacture principles is highly desirable. You should be analytical, structured, and comfortable solving complex technical problems, with the ability to communicate clearly across engineering and project teams. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to make sound engineering decisions will be essential.
