Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced E&C Supervisor to oversee the assembly and installation of high-voltage equipment across various projects throughout Europe. This role focuses on the installation phase of Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas Circuit Breakers (GCB), and Power Transformers (PTR). The supervisor will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of works on site in line with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the electrical and commissioning (E&C) installation activities related to GIS, AIS, GCB, and Power Transformers on assigned projects.

Lead and guide installation teams of assembly and installation specialists, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety regulations, and technical specifications.

Monitor on-site work progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and timelines.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and alignment on technical requirements.

Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with all health and safety protocols on site.

Maintain clear and timely reporting of progress, incidents, and resource requirements to project leadership.

Support logistics and coordination for equipment delivery, site preparation, and installation activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience supervising electrical installation works on GIS and related high-voltage equipment (AIS, GCB, Power Transformers).

Strong knowledge of assembly and installation procedures for the mentioned equipment types.

Background in electrical construction and commissioning supervision (note: commissioning and protection activities are not included in this role).

Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, preferably across multiple European locations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Willingness to travel extensively across Europe as required by project demands.

Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced GIS Supervisor to join a major Transmission & Distribution project, supporting high-voltage (HV) GIS installation and commissioning activities on-site. This is an 8-month minimum contract role with potential for extension, based in either the UK, Norway, Qatar, or Oman. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) systems-preferably at 400kV level-and hands-on experience supervising mechanical and commissioning activities on complex T&D projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise on-site GIS erection and commissioning activities.Guide and support the commissioning team by advising on best practices for site organisation, mechanical assembly, and equipment installation.Instruct local manpower on how to properly unpack, handle, and assemble all GIS equipment.Check civil readiness for GIS installation, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.Collaborate with the commissioning team to prepare for and perform Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).Act as the main point of contact for GIS-related activities on-site, ensuring all erection tasks are performed to the highest safety and quality standards.Coordinate with site teams and commissioning engineers to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:
