We are seeking a skilled Power Supply Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical power supply systems across operational sites. The successful candidate will work on low- and high-voltage equipment, distribution systems, control panels, cabling, transformers, switchgear and associated protection systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical infrastructure remains safe, reliable and compliant with relevant legislation, technical standards and site procedures.

Key duties will include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, completing inspections and testing, and responding efficiently to equipment failures or service interruptions. You will interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation; isolate and make systems safe before work; replace or repair defective components; and accurately record completed activities, test results and any follow-up requirements. The role may also involve assisting with new installations, modifications, commissioning activities and condition assessments. You will liaise with colleagues, contractors and operational teams to coordinate work, minimise disruption and maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.

Applicants should hold a recognised electrical qualification and have relevant experience working with power supply, distribution or industrial electrical systems. A strong understanding of electrical regulations, safe isolation procedures, inspection and testing techniques, and risk assessment is essential. Experience with high-voltage systems, substations, standby generators, batteries or uninterruptible power supplies would be advantageous, as would appropriate authorisation or certification for high-voltage work. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, respond to emergencies when required, and maintain clear technical records. A dependable, methodical approach, good communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. The role may require shift work, on-call duties, travel between sites and working in confined or challenging environments.
