We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Practice Lead to provide strategic, technical and commercial leadership across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects. This is an opportunity for a respected industry professional to shape the growth of a specialist practice, support high-performing teams and deliver innovative solutions for complex infrastructure and environmental challenges.

The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of water and wastewater projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, programme and commercial performance. Responsibilities will include setting technical direction, reviewing designs and reports, managing project risks, and providing expert advice to clients and project stakeholders. You will mentor and develop engineers and technical professionals, promote knowledge sharing, and help build a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement. The role will also involve identifying new opportunities, contributing to bids and proposals, developing client relationships, and supporting strategic business planning and growth.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, environmental, water engineering or a related discipline, together with substantial experience in the water and wastewater sector. Professional registration or chartered status is highly desirable. You will bring strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, networks, hydraulic systems, asset management and regulatory requirements, as well as proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects. We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to guide the growth, delivery and strategic development of a multidisciplinary water infrastructure team. This senior role will suit a technically accomplished and commercially minded professional who can build strong client relationships, lead high-performing teams and deliver innovative solutions across the full project lifecycle. You will contribute to business planning, market development and the continued expansion of services across water, wastewater and related infrastructure.
