An opportunity is available for an Associate, Origination & Execution to support the identification, assessment and delivery of new business opportunities. The role will work across the full transaction lifecycle, from market mapping and relationship development through to analysis, structuring, negotiation and completion. This is a highly collaborative position, requiring regular interaction with senior stakeholders, clients, advisers and internal teams.

Responsibilities will include researching sectors, companies and market trends; developing and maintaining a pipeline of potential opportunities; preparing financial models, valuation analyses, presentations and investment or credit papers; coordinating due diligence; and supporting the preparation and review of transaction documentation. The successful candidate will help manage execution processes, monitor timelines and deliverables, identify key risks and issues, and ensure that relevant approvals and governance requirements are met. The role will also involve contributing to strategic initiatives, maintaining accurate records and presenting findings clearly to decision-makers.

Applicants should have experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, leveraged finance or a closely related field. Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills are essential, together with the ability to interpret complex information and form sound commercial judgements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and confidence working with senior stakeholders are required. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, proactive and well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A relevant degree in finance, economics, accounting, business or another quantitative discipline is preferred, and relevant professional qualifications or progress towards them would be advantageous.
