We are seeking an Associate, Construction Compliance to support the delivery of high-quality compliance services across construction and development projects. This role will suit a detail-oriented professional who can interpret regulatory requirements, assess project documentation and work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, consultants and external authorities. You will contribute to maintaining robust compliance standards throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through construction, completion and handover.

Key responsibilities will include reviewing drawings, specifications, reports, permits, inspection records and other technical documentation to identify compliance risks and gaps. You will assist with monitoring construction activities against applicable legislation, building codes, planning conditions, approved designs, contractual obligations and internal procedures. The role will involve coordinating inspections, recording findings, preparing clear reports, tracking corrective actions and escalating material issues where appropriate. You will also support audits, maintain accurate compliance registers, contribute to risk assessments and help develop practical processes, guidance and reporting tools that improve consistency and project outcomes.

Applicants should have experience in construction, property, engineering, building surveying, compliance, quality assurance or a related discipline, together with a sound understanding of construction processes and relevant regulatory frameworks. A relevant degree, diploma or professional qualification is desirable. You will need strong analytical and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to challenge non-compliant practices constructively. The ability to manage competing priorities, interpret technical information, maintain accurate records and build effective relationships is essential. Experience with project management systems, document control platforms, audit processes or compliance reporting will be advantageous.
