We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Project Controls Cost & Scheduling to support the planning, monitoring and control of complex projects from initiation through completion. This role will provide accurate, timely analysis of project cost, schedule and performance data, helping project teams make informed decisions and maintain control of budgets, forecasts and delivery milestones. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, finance and other stakeholders to ensure consistent project controls practices and reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, cost-loaded plans, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections. You will analyse actuals, commitments, accruals, earned value, trends and variances, identifying potential impacts to cost and schedule performance. The role will also involve preparing regular dashboards, management reports and presentations; supporting change control, risk and opportunity assessments; reviewing contractor and consultant updates; and ensuring progress measurement is complete, transparent and aligned with approved baselines. You will contribute to schedule updates, critical path analysis, recovery planning and scenario modelling, while recommending corrective actions where performance is off track. Additional duties may include improving project controls processes, supporting audits, maintaining data quality and mentoring less experienced analysts.

Applicants should have substantial experience in project controls, cost engineering, planning, scheduling or a related discipline, preferably within a major capital projects, infrastructure, energy, construction or industrial environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, finance, construction management, business or a related field is desirable. Strong knowledge of cost and schedule management principles, forecasting, earned value management and change control is required, along with advanced spreadsheet and reporting skills. Experience with enterprise resource planning, project scheduling and cost-management systems will be advantageous. You will need excellent analytical, communication and organisational abilities, strong attention to detail and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively. The role requires someone who can manage competing priorities, work collaboratively across functions and present complex information clearly to both technical and senior stakeholders.
