Working closely with project managers, design teams, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This is an opportunity to contribute to challenging projects while developing strong technical, commercial and leadership experience.

Your responsibilities will include preparing technical documentation, scopes of work, project schedules, cost estimates and progress reports; coordinating design reviews and resolving engineering issues; monitoring project performance against agreed milestones; and supporting procurement, contractor management, installation, testing and commissioning activities. You will review drawings, specifications, risk assessments and method statements, ensuring that all work complies with relevant legislation, industry standards and approved procedures. You will also contribute to change control, forecasting, quality assurance, health and safety management, and lessons-learned reviews. Regular communication with stakeholders will be essential, including providing clear updates and escalating risks or delays when required.

Applicants should have a degree, HND or equivalent qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline, together with experience supporting or managing engineering projects. A relevant professional accreditation, or progress towards one, would be advantageous. You will need strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with project management tools, engineering software, document control systems and health and safety requirements is desirable. A proactive approach, commercial awareness, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are essential. The role may involve occasional travel to project sites and collaboration with teams in different locations.
