We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Civil/Site to lead the technical delivery of civil and site development projects from design through construction and completion. This role will suit an experienced civil engineer with strong project coordination skills, sound commercial awareness, and a proven ability to deliver safe, high-quality work within programme and budget requirements.
Key responsibilities will include managing civil engineering design activities, reviewing drawings and technical specifications, coordinating consultants, contractors and project stakeholders, and resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle. You will monitor construction progress, quality, costs and compliance with approved designs, contracts, relevant standards and statutory requirements. The role will also involve preparing and reviewing technical reports, method statements, programmes, risk assessments and construction documentation; supporting procurement and tender evaluations; attending site meetings; and providing clear progress updates to senior project personnel. You will be expected to identify project risks early, implement practical solutions, and ensure that changes, defects and variations are properly recorded and managed.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering and have substantial experience delivering civil, infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, utilities, roads or wider site development projects. Professional registration or progress toward chartered status is desirable. You will need strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, health and safety requirements, quality assurance processes and contract administration. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the confidence to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and to provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Proficiency with relevant design, planning and project management software will be advantageous. A proactive, detail-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment are also required.

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of civil and site land development projects from concept through construction. This role will suit an experienced civil engineer who can combine strong technical capability with project leadership, client communication, and commercial awareness. You will work across a range of developments, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring designs are practical, compliant, cost-effective, and delivered to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include managing project scope, programme, budgets, resources, and deliverables; preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, reports, specifications, calculations, and construction documentation; and overseeing site grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, roads, earthworks, erosion and sediment control, and associated infrastructure. You will coordinate with clients, authorities, contractors, surveyors, planners, architects, and other consultants, while obtaining relevant approvals and responding to technical queries. The role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and designers, reviewing work for quality and compliance, identifying project risks, supporting fee proposals and tenders, and providing technical guidance throughout construction. Occasional site inspections and construction support will be required.
Applicants should hold a degree in Civil Engineering and have substantial experience delivering civil or land development projects in a consulting or contractor environment. Professional registration or eligibility for registration will be highly regarded, together with demonstrated knowledge of relevant design standards, approval processes, and construction practices. Experience with civil design and documentation software, project management systems, and technical reporting is desirable.
