Key responsibilities will include assisting with civil engineering designs, calculations, technical drawings, specifications and project documentation. You will support site investigations, surveys, inspections and construction activities, helping to monitor progress, quality, health and safety, and compliance with approved plans. The role will also involve preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, reviewing technical information, assisting with cost and programme tracking, and liaising with contractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders. You may be required to use computer-aided design and engineering software, interpret relevant codes and regulations, and contribute to identifying practical and sustainable solutions.

Applicants should hold, or be nearing completion of, a degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. A strong interest in developing a professional career in civil engineering is essential, together with sound numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to communicate clearly, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a careful, organised approach to your work. Familiarity with design software, engineering calculations, construction practices or project management tools would be advantageous, although full training and mentoring will be provided. A willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities and occasionally travel to project or construction sites is expected.
