We are seeking an Interface Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable interfaces that enable seamless communication between software systems, platforms, and external services. You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, architects, and operational teams to understand technical and business requirements, translate them into practical integration solutions, and ensure that interfaces are secure, scalable, and easy to support.

Your responsibilities will include developing and integrating APIs, web services, data exchange processes, and messaging solutions; producing clear technical documentation; and contributing to interface standards, design patterns, and development guidelines. You will investigate integration issues, analyse logs and performance data, and implement effective resolutions. The role will also involve supporting testing activities, including unit, integration, regression, and performance testing, as well as participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. You will help monitor interface availability and data quality, identify potential risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to manage changes throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Applicants should have professional experience in interface or integration engineering, software development, or a closely related discipline. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, authentication methods, and common integration patterns is required. Experience with SQL, version control, automated testing, and cloud or enterprise integration platforms would be advantageous. You should be comfortable working with troubleshooting tools, technical specifications, and structured development practices. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role requires you to explain technical concepts clearly, work effectively across teams, and manage competing priorities. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and commitment to building dependable, maintainable solutions will be highly valued.
