Site Manager Fuel Systems Maintenance and Repair Southwest Division
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead fuel systems maintenance and repair activities across the Southwest Division. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance for fuel storage, distribution and dispensing systems. You will oversee site operations, coordinate field teams and contractors, and ensure work is completed to agreed standards, timescales and budgets.
Key responsibilities include planning and allocating maintenance and repair activities; supervising engineers, technicians and subcontractors; reviewing work packs, risk assessments and method statements; and ensuring all activities comply with relevant health, safety, environmental and industry regulations. You will monitor system performance, investigate faults, support emergency responses and ensure corrective actions are completed effectively. The role will also involve managing permits, inspections, asset records, materials and specialist equipment, while maintaining accurate reports and operational documentation. Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders will be essential, as will identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and service delivery.
Applicants should have substantial experience managing maintenance, engineering or repair operations within fuel systems, petroleum infrastructure, industrial services or a similarly regulated environment. A strong understanding of fuel storage and dispensing equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, statutory compliance and safe systems of work is required. You should be confident leading teams across multiple locations, prioritising competing demands and making sound decisions under pressure. Relevant technical, engineering, health and safety or management qualifications are desirable, together with experience of contractor control, budget management and quality assurance. A full driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the Southwest Division are also required. The successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship and customer service.
