Ein dynamisches, wirtschaftlich unabhängiges Energieunternehmen mit Sitz in Berlin-Mitte sucht eine:n Grid Connection Engineer (m/w/d) für die Planung und Umsetzung von Netzanschlüssen für Batteriespeicherprojekte (BESS). Mit Fokus auf Projekte in Niedersachsen und einem modernen Büro direkt an der Spree, übernimmt diese Rolle eine zentrale Funktion: den erfolgreichen Netzanschluss der Energiespeicher im deutschen Strommarkt sicherzustellen.

Aufgaben

Verantwortung für die Netzanschlussplanung von der Machbarkeitsanalyse bis zur Inbetriebnahme.Technische Ansprechperson für Netzbetreiber (DSOs/TSOs) inkl. Verhandlung von Netzbedingungen.Durchführung bzw. Koordination von Netzstudien (Lastfluss, Kurzschluss, Schutz).Erstellung und Einreichung technischer Unterlagen für Netzanschlussanträge.Überwachung regulatorischer Entwicklungen und Anpassung der Strategien.Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams aus Projektentwicklung, Technik und Finanzen.Mitgestaltung einer skalierbaren Grid-Strategie für künftige Speicherprojekte.

Profil

Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Netzplanung, Netzstudien oder technische Schnittstellenarbeit.Fundierte Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Netzbetreibern; bestehende Kontakte sind von Vorteil.Technisches Verständnis der relevanten Vorschriften (z. B. VDE, FGW).Erfahrung in einem Ingenieurbüro ist ein Plus.Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch ist erforderlich, Englischkenntnisse sind vorteilhaft.Erfahrung mit Batteriespeicher- oder Erneuerbare-Energien-Projekten ist stark erwünscht.

As a Senior Grid Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and implementation of grid integration solutions for our renewable energy projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful development and execution of sustainable energy initiatives, driving our commitment to a greener future.

Key Responsibilities:

Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in grid integration, power systems engineering, or related roles within the renewable energy sector.Profound knowledge of power system studies and tools such as PSS/E, PowerFactory, or similar software.Strong understanding of grid codes, regulations, and industry standards related to renewable energy integration.Experience with substation design, transmission planning, and power system protection schemes.Proven project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and renewable energy development.
