Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects from initiation through to completion. This role will suit a confident project professional who can manage competing priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You will take ownership of project governance, timelines, budgets, resources and quality standards, ensuring that projects remain aligned with strategic objectives and operational requirements.

Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, deliverables, milestones and success measures; developing and maintaining detailed project plans; managing risks, issues, dependencies and change control; and providing clear, regular progress reports to senior stakeholders. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and external partners, facilitate workshops and decision-making forums, and ensure that communication remains effective throughout the project lifecycle. You will also monitor financial performance, track benefits realisation and oversee the preparation of project documentation, business cases and post-implementation reviews.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing large or complex projects, ideally within a regulated, technical or transformation-focused environment. A recognised project management qualification or equivalent professional experience is desirable, together with a strong understanding of project governance, financial control, risk management and delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches. You will be an organised and commercially aware leader with excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills. The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, manage ambiguity and motivate teams through change is essential. Experience using project planning, reporting and collaboration tools will also be advantageous.
