We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver major projects within the underground rail network. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, renewal and improvement of essential public transport infrastructure, working in an environment where safety, reliability and long-term value are central to every decision. You will be responsible for leading projects from early planning through to completion, ensuring that agreed objectives, budgets, schedules and quality standards are achieved.

Your responsibilities will include defining project scope and delivery plans, coordinating internal teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, and monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle. You will manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes, providing clear reports and recommendations to support effective decision-making. The role will also involve preparing procurement and tender documentation, supporting contract management, following up on financial performance and ensuring that work is delivered in accordance with relevant regulations, technical requirements and health and safety standards. You will build strong working relationships across a complex operational environment and communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of project management within infrastructure, construction, rail, transport or another technically complex sector. You should be comfortable managing several activities simultaneously and have a structured, solution-focused approach to planning and delivery. Experience of working with contractors, consultants and public-sector or regulated stakeholders would be advantageous. Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to take ownership and make sound decisions. A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is expected, and formal project management certification would be beneficial. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
