Rail Signalling Expert (ETCS Level 2) - High-Speed Rail Project

Location: Vietnam
Contract Duration: 36+ months
Salary: €7,500 - €8,000 NET per month

The Opportunity

A leading international consultancy has been awarded a major High-Speed Rail project in Vietnam and is seeking a Senior Signalling Expert to play a key role in its delivery.

This is a flagship infrastructure programme, offering the opportunity to contribute to a transformational rail scheme that will shape the future of transportation in the region.

You will be based in country, working closely with the end client in a high-impact, client-facing position with real influence over signalling design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on signalling systems for a large-scale HSR project
  • Act as a senior advisor to the client, supporting decision-making and delivery strategy
  • Oversee design, integration, and implementation of ETCS Level 2 systems
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements
  • Support coordination across multidisciplinary rail systems teams

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
  • 15-20+ years' experience in railway signalling
  • Proven experience delivering ETCS Level 2 on at least one High-Speed Rail project
  • Strong background in systems integration, design, and project delivery
  • International project experience is beneficial but not essential
