Technical Director - Rail

An expanding transportation business is seeking a Technical Director to support business growth and project development activities across the rail sector.

The position combines technical leadership with commercial and tendering responsibilities and will play a key role in shaping future project opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical input into bids, tenders and proposals.Develop project estimates and pricing strategies.Support business development and client engagement activities.Review technical submissions and commercial assumptions.Coordinate engineering solutions across rail transportation projects.Provide technical leadership throughout bidding and project delivery phases.Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related discipline (mandatory).

10-15 years' experience within rail engineering, project development or transportation consultancy.Strong background in cost estimation, tendering and bid management.Experience on rail, metro and High-Speed Rail projects.Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement skills.Previous experience with contractors, consultancies, system suppliers or rail authorities.Ability to bridge technical and commercial functions.
