We are seeking a Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects across water, wastewater, and related utility networks. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is ready to take on increasing responsibility while working alongside experienced technical professionals on projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.

Key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and schedules; developing designs for pipelines, pumping stations, treatment facilities, storage assets, drainage systems, and associated infrastructure; undertaking hydraulic modelling and design assessments; and contributing to investigations, options evaluations, cost estimates, and risk assessments. You will liaise with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams, attend site visits and inspections, provide technical support during construction, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards and environmental requirements. You may also assist with project planning, fee proposals, progress reporting, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Applicants should hold a degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, or a closely related engineering discipline, together with relevant professional experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure design. Experience with hydraulic modelling software, engineering design packages, and technical documentation is desirable, as is familiarity with industry standards, health and safety obligations, planning processes, and construction practices. Professional registration or progress toward chartered status will be viewed favourably. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The role offers opportunities for professional development, varied project exposure, and progression within a supportive technical environment.
