We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Utilities Group Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure, utility, and advisory projects across the water sector. You will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers, and technical specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Key duties will include overseeing the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater infrastructure; providing technical guidance on treatment, conveyance, collection, pumping, storage, and network systems; managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risk, and quality; and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements. You will also build strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulators, and stakeholders, while identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, contributing to business plans, and supporting the ongoing development of the utilities portfolio.

Applicants should hold a degree in civil, environmental, water resources, or a related engineering discipline, together with substantial experience in the water and wastewater sector. Professional registration or chartered status is desirable, as is a strong record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering major utility projects. You will bring sound commercial awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to make confident, evidence-based decisions in a changing environment. Experience with client account management, proposal development, regulatory engagement, and project delivery methodologies will be highly valued.
