We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects in the Miami, Florida area. This entry-level project management role is suited to an organised, proactive professional who can work effectively with project teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. The successful candidate will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities include assisting with project schedules, budgets, forecasts, procurement activities, submittals, change orders, meeting coordination, and project documentation. You will help track progress, prepare status reports, maintain project records, and follow up on action items to keep work moving forward. The role also involves reviewing plans and specifications, supporting the resolution of project issues, coordinating information between stakeholders, and helping monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Occasional site visits may be required to observe progress, communicate with field teams, and support inspections or project meetings.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, or a related discipline, along with relevant internship, academic, or professional experience. Strong organisational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Familiarity with project management, scheduling, estimating, document control, or construction software is beneficial. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is expected. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, accountability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and travel locally to project sites when needed is also required.
