We are seeking a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This role will contribute to the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Applicants should have experience in construction project management, preferably involving municipal water, wastewater treatment, utility, pipeline, or related heavy civil projects. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent industry experience will be considered. Assistant Project Manager candidates should demonstrate strong organisational skills and a willingness to develop technical and commercial expertise. Project Manager candidates should be confident managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and project teams independently. Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and computer skills are essential, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management or scheduling software. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively, travel to active project sites as required, and meet applicable background, driving, and site-access requirements.
