We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead the successful delivery of multifamily construction projects from site preparation through completion. The successful candidate will oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain strong communication across all project stakeholders while keeping construction activities organised and progressing smoothly.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining site logistics and short-term execution plans; coordinating subcontractor activities and inspections; reviewing drawings, scopes, and schedules; monitoring workmanship and resolving construction issues; and maintaining accurate daily reports, schedules, safety documentation, and progress updates. You will lead site meetings, track materials and deliveries, identify potential delays or cost impacts, and work closely with project management, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners to address challenges promptly. You will also enforce site safety procedures, support quality-control initiatives, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.

Applicants should have several years of experience supervising multifamily, residential, or similarly complex commercial construction projects, with a strong understanding of building processes from foundations through final finishes. Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents, manage multiple subcontractors, and build productive working relationships is essential. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in relevant project management or construction software. A commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and schedule performance is critical. Experience with ground-up multifamily developments, renovations, or occupied-site construction is highly desirable. Relevant trade qualifications, construction certifications, or equivalent practical experience will be valued.
