Project Manager - Construction (Multifamily)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role will oversee project planning, coordination, execution, and closeout, ensuring that work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep all project activities aligned.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and progress reports; coordinating design reviews, permitting, inspections, and approvals; and managing contracts, change orders, payment applications, and cost forecasts. You will lead regular project meetings, identify and resolve design or construction issues, monitor subcontractor performance, and ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, building codes, and health and safety requirements. The role also involves tracking project risks, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating updates to stakeholders, and supporting a smooth transition through commissioning, punch-list completion, handover, and final closeout.

Applicants should have proven experience managing multifamily, residential, or similarly complex construction projects, ideally from initial planning through completion. A strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling tools, cost control, contract administration, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements is essential. You should be an organised, proactive, and confident communicator with strong negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities, build effective working relationships, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment is required. A degree or professional qualification in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline is preferred, together with relevant industry certifications and experience using common project management and construction software.
