A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline and substantial experience in land development design are required. Professional Engineer licensure, or the ability to obtain licensure within an appropriate timeframe, is strongly preferred. Candidates should have experience with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as proficiency in civil design and drafting software such as Civil 3D, stormwater modeling tools, and standard office applications. Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, permitting, and construction practices is essential. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with limited supervision. A valid driver’s license and occasional travel to project sites may be required.
