We are seeking an experienced Temporary Senior Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to oversee the delivery of major mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure projects within a corporate office environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who can represent the client’s interests, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure that complex building systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will manage projects from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Responsibilities will include defining project scope, programmes and budgets; reviewing designs, specifications and technical submissions; coordinating consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders; monitoring progress, costs, risks and change control; and providing clear, regular reporting to senior leadership. You will lead project meetings, resolve technical and commercial issues, oversee quality assurance, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, health and safety requirements and corporate standards. The role will also involve managing construction interfaces, reviewing testing and commissioning activities, and ensuring that comprehensive close-out documentation and operational handover requirements are completed.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing MEP infrastructure projects, ideally within corporate offices, commercial buildings, data-intensive environments or similarly complex facilities. A strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, life-safety systems, controls, plumbing and building services integration is essential. You will be confident operating as an owner’s representative, challenging assumptions, protecting project objectives and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with design management, contractor administration, cost and schedule control, risk management and commissioning is required. Relevant professional qualifications in engineering, construction, project management or a related discipline are desirable, together with recognised project management credentials. Excellent communication, negotiation, organisation and stakeholder-management skills are essential. This temporary opportunity will suit a proactive, technically credible leader who can quickly establish control, drive accountability and deliver high-quality MEP infrastructure outcomes.
