QAQC Manager (MEP / CSA)

Norway (Near Oslo) | Major Data Centre Construction Project | Up to €120,000

EWI Recruitment are supporting a leading international contractor on a major construction project in the South of Norway. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced QAQC Manager with a strong background in either MEP or CSA disciplines.

This is a key management-level position responsible for driving quality standards across the project whilst leading subcontractors, supply chain partners, and site quality teams.

The Opportunity

Joining this project offers the chance to work on a landmark construction development with a well-established contractor recognised for delivering complex projects throughout Europe.

The successful candidate will take ownership of quality assurance and quality control activities across the construction phase, ensuring compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all QAQC activities across MEP and/or CSA packages.
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and delivery partners to ensure quality compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project quality plans and procedures.
  • Review and approve ITPs, method statements, quality documentation, and inspection records.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing programmes, and handover documentation.
  • Chair quality meetings and provide regular reports to project leadership.
  • Drive the resolution of NCRs, punch lists, and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and construction teams on quality matters.
  • Mentor and support site QAQC engineers and inspectors.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with contractual, statutory, and company quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QAQC Manager, Lead QAQC Engineer, or Senior Quality Manager on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong background within either:
    • CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) works, or
    • MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) installations.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of quality systems, inspections, testing procedures, and project handover processes.
  • Familiarity with international construction standards and best practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Previous experience on major building, industrial, infrastructure, or mission critical projects would be advantageous.
