Key responsibilities will include defining project scope, budgets, programmes, and resourcing requirements; overseeing feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover; and monitoring progress, risks, costs, quality, and performance throughout the project lifecycle. You will provide technical and commercial leadership, manage change control and project reporting, support contract administration, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, health and safety requirements, and environmental obligations. The role will also involve mentoring project teams, contributing to bids and proposals, building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve delivery methods and operational outcomes.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, environmental, water, wastewater, or a related engineering discipline, together with substantial experience managing water or wastewater projects. Professional registration or chartership, where applicable, is desirable.
