We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to provide strategic direction and commercial leadership across a growing and complex business environment. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering commercial strategies that support revenue growth, improve profitability and strengthen long-term customer and partner relationships. Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will identify new opportunities, assess market trends and translate business priorities into clear, measurable commercial plans.

Your responsibilities will include leading the development and execution of pricing, sales and contract strategies; managing commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers and strategic partners; and overseeing the preparation of proposals, tenders, business cases and financial models. You will monitor performance against budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators, providing accurate reporting and recommendations to support informed decision-making. The role will also involve identifying commercial risks, ensuring appropriate governance and contract compliance, and driving continuous improvements in processes, systems and ways of working. You will build strong relationships across the organisation and contribute to wider business planning and growth initiatives.

To succeed in this position, you will have significant experience in a commercial, sales, business development, procurement or contract management role, ideally within a complex or fast-paced sector. You will bring a strong understanding of commercial principles, financial analysis, pricing and negotiation, together with the ability to interpret data and communicate clear recommendations. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential, as is the confidence to work with senior decision-makers and manage competing priorities. A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes are required. Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.
