Electrical Superintendent - Texas

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction and installation activities on projects in Texas. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, supervising electrical crews and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with approved plans, specifications and applicable codes. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership in the field and serve as a key point of contact among project management, engineering, contractors, vendors and site personnel.

Responsibilities include planning daily and weekly electrical activities; reviewing drawings, specifications and scope requirements; coordinating manpower, materials, tools and equipment; monitoring productivity and workmanship; and resolving technical or scheduling issues before they affect project delivery. You will conduct or support pre-task planning, toolbox talks, inspections and quality-control activities, while maintaining accurate records of progress, deficiencies, changes and installed quantities. The role also involves coordinating commissioning, testing, start-up and punch-list completion, as well as supporting estimates, work planning and cost tracking when required. A strong commitment to safety is essential, including enforcing site procedures, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

Applicants should have substantial experience supervising electrical construction, preferably on industrial, commercial, infrastructure, energy or large-scale development projects. A thorough understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, construction sequencing, interpreting one-line diagrams and technical drawings, and applicable electrical codes is required. Demonstrated experience leading crews, subcontractors and multiple work fronts is highly desirable. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field environment. The position may require extended hours, shift work, travel within Texas and work in varying weather and site conditions. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to meet site access, medical and background requirements may also be necessary.
