Associate, Client Onboarding

We are seeking an Associate, Client Onboarding to support the smooth and efficient onboarding of new clients and the ongoing maintenance of existing client relationships. In this role, you will coordinate the collection, review and validation of client information and documentation, ensuring that all onboarding activities meet internal policies, regulatory requirements and agreed service standards. You will work closely with clients, relationship teams, compliance, operations and other internal stakeholders to resolve queries, address gaps and progress cases through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include managing onboarding requests from initiation to completion; performing client due diligence, know-your-client and related checks; reviewing corporate structures, ownership information and supporting documentation; identifying missing or inconsistent information; and escalating risks or complex issues appropriately. You will maintain accurate records across relevant systems, monitor case progress and deadlines, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery of a consistent and high-quality client experience. The role may also involve supporting periodic reviews, client data refreshes, remediation exercises and process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will have experience in client onboarding, client services, operations, compliance, financial services or a related environment. You should have strong attention to detail, sound organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines. A practical understanding of customer due diligence, anti-money laundering principles, risk controls and regulatory documentation would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the confidence to engage professionally with a range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable working with sensitive information, investigating issues and making sound decisions within established procedures. A proactive, collaborative approach and an interest in improving processes will help you succeed in this position.
