This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical knowledge and a practical approach to contribute to projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Working closely with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and site teams, you will help coordinate design information, monitor progress and ensure that works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved specifications. You will be expected to build effective working relationships and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities

  • Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation, identifying discrepancies and supporting timely resolution.
  • Assist with the coordination of consultants, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare, review and maintain technical submittals, requests for information, programmes and project records.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality and compliance against project requirements.
  • Support site inspections, testing, commissioning and the close-out of defects.
  • Attend project meetings and provide accurate updates on technical matters, risks and outstanding actions.
  • Help ensure that health and safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Contribute to cost control, procurement activities and the evaluation of proposed changes.

About you

You will have experience in a project engineering, site engineering or technical coordination role within residential, construction or a related built environment sector. Experience of multifamily, high-rise or large-scale housing developments would be advantageous. A degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, construction, building services or a related discipline is preferred.

You should be confident interpreting technical drawings, comfortable using common project management and document control systems, and proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. A proactive attitude, sound problem-solving ability and commitment to high standards will be highly valued.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your career while helping deliver high-quality homes within a collaborative and professionally managed project environment.
