You will work across the full project lifecycle, from early development and design through procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities will include leading engineering governance, coordinating design disciplines and managing interfaces between systems, infrastructure, rolling stock, operations and other project stakeholders. You will establish technical assurance processes, review and approve engineering deliverables, oversee design risk management and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and industry best practice. Experience of safety-critical systems, systems engineering, construction delivery, testing and commissioning would be advantageous. This opportunity will suit a collaborative and decisive leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical oversight and a clear focus on quality, safety and successful project outcomes.
