A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related discipline is required. Candidates should have foundational knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater design, erosion and sediment control, and applicable environmental or transportation regulations. Familiarity with engineering design and modelling software, GIS, CAD, and Microsoft Office is desirable. An Engineer Intern or equivalent credential, or the ability to obtain one, is preferred. Strong analytical, written, verbal, and organisational skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
