Join a multidisciplinary team as a Water Resources Engineer I supporting the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure improvements. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects involving drainage systems, stormwater management, flood control, water quality, and permitting. You will work alongside experienced engineers, environmental specialists, surveyors, and construction professionals to develop practical, resilient solutions for complex transportation and community needs.
Responsibilities include preparing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses; assisting with the design of stormwater conveyance, retention, detention, and treatment systems; developing technical calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates; and supporting drainage studies for roadway and interchange improvements. You may also assist with field investigations, site assessments, data collection, utility coordination, agency correspondence, permit applications, and construction support. The role requires reviewing plans and technical documents, identifying potential design issues, incorporating applicable standards and regulations, and contributing to project schedules and quality control processes.
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related discipline is required. Candidates should have foundational knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater design, erosion and sediment control, and applicable environmental or transportation regulations. Familiarity with engineering design and modelling software, GIS, CAD, and Microsoft Office is desirable. An Engineer Intern or equivalent credential, or the ability to obtain one, is preferred. Strong analytical, written, verbal, and organisational skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position is suited to a motivated early-career engineer who is eager to learn, collaborate, and help deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure improvements.

We are seeking a Water Resources Engineer II – Moving I-4 Forward to support the planning, design, permitting, and delivery of transportation-related water resources projects. This role is suited to an experienced civil or water resources professional who can work independently on complex assignments while collaborating effectively with engineers, environmental specialists, surveyors, construction teams, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing stormwater management plans, drainage studies, hydraulic and hydrologic models, drainage reports, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents. You will evaluate roadway and site drainage systems, develop practical solutions for flood control and water quality, and support the design of culverts, stormwater conveyance systems, ponds, swales, outfalls, and related infrastructure. The position will also involve coordinating permitting activities, responding to technical comments, reviewing plans and submittals, conducting field investigations, and providing technical support during construction. You may also assist with schedules, scopes, budgets, quality control, and mentoring less experienced staff.
Qualified candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related discipline, along with several years of relevant professional experience. Professional Engineer licensure, or the ability to obtain it within an agreed timeframe, is preferred. Strong knowledge of stormwater regulations, drainage design standards, hydrologic and hydraulic principles, and transportation infrastructure is expected. Experience with tools such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS, HEC-RAS, ICPR, SWMM, or comparable modeling and design software will be valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, clear written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting technical, regulatory, and project deadlines.

A Senior Cost Estimator is sought to support the planning and delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will develop accurate, comprehensive cost estimates across project stages, from early concept and feasibility through design development, procurement, construction, and closeout. This role will analyse drawings, specifications, scope documents, schedules, quantities, labour requirements, materials, equipment, subcontractor pricing, escalation, contingencies, and risk allowances to produce reliable estimates for decision-making.
Key responsibilities include preparing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed estimates; reviewing design changes and assessing their cost impact; maintaining estimating databases, historical cost information, and productivity benchmarks; obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations; and working closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement teams, and commercial specialists. The Senior Cost Estimator will identify scope gaps, inconsistencies, and potential cost risks, prepare value-engineering recommendations, support budget development and cost control, and present findings clearly to technical and senior stakeholders. The role will also contribute to estimate reviews, tender documentation, bid evaluations, change-order assessments, and lessons-learned activities.
Applicants should have significant experience estimating major civil, highway, rail, utilities, or other infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, pricing structures, and cost-risk analysis. A degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Professional certification or membership of a recognised estimating, surveying, or construction body would be advantageous. Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills are essential, together with advanced capability in spreadsheets and estimating software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, commercially aware, confident working with incomplete information, and able to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professional integrity.
