We are seeking an experienced Public Infrastructure Project Manager to lead stormwater and municipal infrastructure projects in Duluth, Georgia. This role will oversee projects from initial planning and design through procurement, construction, closeout, and post-construction review. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, utility providers, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective infrastructure improvements.

Key responsibilities include developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies; managing engineering consultants and construction contractors; reviewing plans, specifications, cost estimates, change orders, pay applications, and technical submittals; and monitoring project progress, quality, safety, and compliance. You will support stormwater planning and asset management initiatives, including drainage improvements, culvert and channel projects, detention and retention facilities, flood mitigation, watershed studies, and erosion control measures. The role will also involve conducting site visits, resolving field issues, maintaining accurate project records, preparing reports and presentations, and communicating project status to leadership and the public.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, public administration, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing public works, stormwater, drainage, or civil infrastructure projects. Experience with municipal capital improvement programs, contract administration, permitting, budgeting, and regulatory requirements is strongly preferred. Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional, or similar certification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of stormwater design principles, construction practices, applicable local and state regulations, and project management methodologies is expected. The ideal candidate will be organised, analytical, and confident working with diverse stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with project management, scheduling, document control, and design software is also desirable.
