We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager (PE), Water & Wastewater to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects from concept through construction and closeout. This role will manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulators, and other stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions for water, wastewater, treatment, conveyance, pumping, and related utility projects.

Key responsibilities include defining project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements; overseeing engineering design and technical deliverables; reviewing plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documentation; and ensuring projects comply with applicable codes, permits, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements. You will monitor progress, quality, risks, costs, and contract performance, while identifying issues early and implementing effective corrective actions. The role also involves preparing proposals and fee estimates, supporting business development, leading client meetings, managing change orders, and providing technical guidance to project teams. During construction, you may support procurement, bid evaluation, site inspections, commissioning, and resolution of field-related challenges.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and an active Professional Engineer (PE) licence, with significant experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of water and sewer systems, treatment processes, hydraulic principles, utility design, construction methods, and relevant regulatory requirements is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proven project leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and client service. Excellent written, verbal, organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required, along with proficiency in engineering and project management software. Experience with design-build or alternative delivery methods, public-sector programmes, and large capital improvement projects would be advantageous.
