The role may also involve attending meetings, communicating with project stakeholders, tracking schedules and budgets, and supporting quality control reviews.

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates should have strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, along with an interest in developing a career in water resources engineering. Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulics principles, stormwater design, engineering drawings, technical software, and applicable regulations is advantageous. The ability to manage multiple assignments, work effectively within a team, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines is essential. An engineering-in-training certification or eligibility to obtain one is preferred. Occasional travel to project sites and fieldwork may be required.
