Signaling Civil Works Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Signaling Civil Works Senior Manager to lead the delivery of civil engineering activities supporting major railway signaling and infrastructure projects. This role will oversee the planning, design coordination, construction, testing support and handover of civil works associated with signaling systems, including equipment rooms, cable routes, foundations, access roads, drainage, duct banks, troughing, gantries and other trackside structures. The successful candidate will ensure that works are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with approved designs, technical standards and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing civil works contractors, consultants and site teams; coordinating interfaces between civil, track, signaling, electrical and telecommunications disciplines; reviewing drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, risk assessments and construction programmes; and monitoring progress, quality, cost and resource requirements. You will lead technical and coordination meetings, resolve construction issues, manage design changes and non-conformances, and provide clear reporting to project leadership. The role will also involve supporting procurement, reviewing contractor performance, overseeing site inspections and ensuring that as-built records, testing documentation and handover dossiers are complete and accurate.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline, together with substantial experience delivering civil works on railway, metro, transit or other complex infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, rail interfaces, signaling-related civil infrastructure, quality assurance and health and safety requirements is essential. Professional registration or membership of a relevant engineering institution is desirable. You will need excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities in a demanding project environment. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, managing contractors and interpreting technical and contractual documentation will be highly valued.
