We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to develop, maintain and coordinate project programmes across multiple construction activities. Working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, you will ensure that planned works are clearly sequenced, realistically resourced and delivered in line with contractual milestones, quality requirements and health and safety expectations.

Your responsibilities will include preparing baseline programmes, detailed short-term look-ahead schedules and progress updates; monitoring actual performance against planned progress; identifying delays, risks, constraints and critical path impacts; and supporting the development of mitigation and recovery plans. You will collect updates from project stakeholders, analyse schedule performance, maintain accurate records and produce clear reports for project meetings and senior management. The role will also involve coordinating design, procurement, approvals, construction and commissioning activities, while ensuring programme changes are properly assessed, communicated and incorporated.

Applicants should have proven experience in a scheduling or project controls role within the construction, engineering or infrastructure sector. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, programme management principles and critical path analysis is essential, along with practical experience using scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent tools. You will need excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, manage competing priorities and work effectively with teams at all levels. A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, project management or a related discipline is desirable. Commercial awareness and an understanding of contract programmes, progress measurement and delay analysis would also be advantageous. This opportunity would suit a proactive and detail-focused professional who can translate complex project information into achievable plans and help drive successful project delivery.
