Scheduler – Orlando, FL*
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduler to support daily operations in Orlando, Florida. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring appointments, work assignments, and service activities are arranged efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will communicate regularly with customers, field personnel, supervisors, and internal teams to confirm requirements, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain a smooth workflow.
Key responsibilities include creating and updating daily schedules; assigning personnel, vehicles, equipment, or work orders according to availability and priority; confirming appointments and communicating changes in a timely manner; monitoring progress and adjusting schedules when delays, cancellations, or urgent requests arise; and maintaining accurate records in scheduling, customer relationship management, or enterprise systems. The Scheduler will also review incoming requests, identify potential issues before they affect service delivery, prepare reports, and escalate operational concerns when appropriate. Strong customer service and professional communication are essential, as the role may involve handling questions, managing expectations, and responding calmly to time-sensitive situations.
Applicants should have previous experience in scheduling, dispatch, coordination, administration, customer service, or a related operational environment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required. Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling or database systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication, sound judgement, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Flexibility to support changing business needs, including occasional schedule adjustments, extended hours, or weekend coverage, may be required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and relevant industry experience or additional training will be considered an advantage.
