We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Scheduler to support the successful planning and delivery of multiple projects. In this role, you will develop, maintain and monitor detailed project schedules, ensuring that key milestones, activities, resources and dependencies are accurately recorded and regularly updated. You will work closely with project managers, delivery teams, contractors and other stakeholders to gather progress information, identify potential delays and ensure that schedules reflect current project status.

Key responsibilities will include preparing baseline programmes, updating schedules in line with agreed changes, tracking critical paths and identifying risks to delivery. You will provide regular schedule reports, progress updates and performance insights, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions where required. The role will also involve coordinating planning meetings, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting short- and long-term look-ahead planning, and assisting with forecasting resource requirements. You will help ensure that schedule controls, reporting processes and project records are consistently maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls, ideally within a complex delivery, construction, engineering, infrastructure or similar environment. You should be confident using scheduling and project management software, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret programme data and produce clear reports. Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with a range of stakeholders. A structured, analytical approach and the confidence to challenge inaccuracies or emerging risks will be important. Relevant qualifications in project management, planning, engineering, business or a related discipline are desirable, although equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
