Construction Scheduler-Multi-Family
We are seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support the successful delivery of multi-family residential projects from pre-construction through completion. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules that coordinate design, procurement, permitting, subcontractor activities, inspections, and construction operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities across multiple active projects.
Key responsibilities include preparing baseline and update schedules, integrating subcontractor and supplier programmes, tracking critical path activities, and identifying potential delays, dependencies, and schedule risks. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, consultants, architects, engineers, and trade partners to gather progress information and ensure schedules accurately reflect site conditions. The role will also involve analysing variances, preparing recovery plans, supporting look-ahead planning, and providing clear schedule reports and updates to project leadership. You may assist with tender and pre-construction planning, construction sequencing, resource coordination, and documentation required for change orders or time-impact assessments.
Applicants should have proven experience scheduling construction projects, ideally within multi-family, residential, commercial, or similarly complex building environments. Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms is required, along with strong knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path methodology, and project controls. The ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and progress reports is highly valued. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is the confidence to challenge inaccurate information and provide practical solutions. A degree, diploma, or professional qualification in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related discipline is preferred. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality developments while working with diverse project teams in a fast-paced environment.
