Sr. Project Manager - Land Development

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex land development projects from initial planning and feasibility through design, approvals, construction, and final completion. This role will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable planning, environmental, engineering, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, resolve challenges proactively, and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include establishing project scope, programmes, budgets, risk registers, procurement strategies, and reporting processes; coordinating civil, structural, environmental, transport, utilities, and landscape consultants; managing planning applications, development approvals, permits, and conditions; and overseeing tendering, contract administration, construction delivery, inspections, and handover. You will monitor project performance, review design and cost information, manage variations and claims, and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders. The role will also involve identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring all works comply with relevant legislation, technical standards, quality requirements, and health and safety obligations.

Applicants should have significant experience managing land development, infrastructure, subdivision, or property development projects, with a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle. A relevant qualification in project management, civil engineering, construction, urban development, or a related discipline is preferred. You will be an accomplished communicator and negotiator with proven commercial awareness, sound financial management skills, and the ability to influence diverse project teams. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, confidence working with technical information, and proficiency with project management and reporting tools are essential. Experience managing consultants, contractors, statutory authorities, and complex stakeholder environments will be highly valued.
