We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (BMS) to lead the successful delivery of building management system projects from initial planning through to completion and handover. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, coordinating internal teams, specialist subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Your duties will include defining project scope, preparing programmes and budgets, monitoring progress, managing risks and maintaining accurate project documentation. You will oversee the design, procurement, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of BMS solutions, ensuring compliance with specifications, applicable standards and client requirements. You will also manage variations, change control, commercial performance and payment processes, while identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes. Regular communication with stakeholders will be essential, including progress reporting, meetings, technical discussions and resolution of issues. You will support the preparation of handover documentation, training materials and operational information, ensuring a smooth transition to the client or service team.

The successful candidate will have proven project management experience within BMS, controls, building services, HVAC controls or a closely related engineering environment. A strong understanding of BMS architecture, control strategies, integration, commissioning and building services systems is required. You should be confident reading technical specifications and drawings, managing programmes and budgets, and coordinating teams across several concurrent projects. Experience with project management methodologies and tools, as well as relevant technical or project management qualifications, would be advantageous. Strong organisational, commercial, communication and problem-solving skills are essential, together with a proactive approach, attention to detail and the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and delivery partners. A willingness to travel to project sites may be required.
