Project Coordinator
Project Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a range of projects. Working closely with project managers, internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help ensure activities are planned, monitored and completed to a high standard, on time and within budget.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys coordinating people, information and deadlines. You will maintain accurate project records, arrange meetings, track actions and provide clear updates to support effective decision-making. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing competing priorities and building positive working relationships across different teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, milestones, tasks and deliverables from initiation through to completion.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and follow up on agreed actions.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, risk registers and reporting dashboards.
- Monitor progress against plans, highlighting delays, dependencies, risks and issues to the relevant project manager.
- Support budget monitoring, purchase orders, invoices and resource planning where required.
- Communicate with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to obtain updates and resolve routine queries.
- Prepare regular progress reports and contribute to project reviews and lessons-learned activities.
- Help ensure project processes, governance requirements and quality standards are followed.
About you
You will have experience in project administration, coordination or a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced or structured environment. Excellent organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage detail without losing sight of wider objectives. You should be confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and able to learn project management systems quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, together with a collaborative approach and a willingness to take ownership. You will be dependable, adaptable and capable of working independently while knowing when to seek guidance. Experience of project management methodologies, reporting tools or working across multiple workstreams would be advantageous, but is not essential.
If you are motivated by delivering well-organised projects and are looking for an opportunity to develop your coordination skills, we would welcome your application.
