We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to support the effective planning, coordination and delivery of projects from initiation through to completion. Working closely with project managers, team leads, contractors and other stakeholders, you will develop and maintain schedules that provide clear visibility of milestones, dependencies, resources and critical deadlines. You will help ensure that project activities are sequenced logically and delivered in line with agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and updating integrated project schedules using appropriate planning tools; tracking progress against baseline plans; identifying delays, risks, resource constraints and schedule conflicts; and communicating any impacts to the relevant stakeholders. You will coordinate regular schedule reviews, produce progress reports and dashboards, maintain accurate records, and support the preparation of forecasts and recovery plans where required. You will also assist with coordinating meetings, recording actions and ensuring that schedule-related information is shared promptly across project teams. Where necessary, you will work with procurement, construction, engineering, operations or delivery teams to confirm activity durations, dependencies and resource requirements.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls, ideally within a complex or deadline-driven environment. You should be confident working with scheduling and reporting software, with strong skills in data analysis, documentation and Microsoft Office applications. An understanding of project management principles, critical path analysis, change control and risk management will be highly valued. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise competing demands, challenge assumptions constructively and work independently. We are looking for someone who is methodical, proactive and committed to maintaining accurate, reliable information that supports informed project decisions.
